And while that may seem to be an impressive feat, Hip-Hop historians will want to note that Game also managed to pull off an epic collaboration on Purp & Patron, featuring Hip-Hop legends KRS-One, Doug E. Fresh and Big Daddy
Not only does the track pull together rappers from the West and East Coast, it also marks the first time KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane and Doug E. Fresh have ever recorded in the studio together.
"We was all in the studio at the same time," Game told AllHipHop.com during an exclusive interview. "I got it on camera. Outside of meeting Dr.
Game told AllHipHop.com that South Bronx legend KRS-One helped put the track together.
Doug E. Fresh, who's popularity has surged due to the "Teach Me How to Dougie" hit single, happened to be in Los Angeles as Game was preparing to record with KRS-One.
Then, a mutual friend reached out to Big Daddy Kane and he flew into Los Angeles to record his part for "History."
"I will never forget it, and I am forever in debt, first to KRS-One, cause he put it together," Game told AllHipHop.com. "Doug E. for being a good friend of mine and coming to the studio. Even KRS said 'Us three never been in the studio at one time, never.'"
The "History" track is taken from Game's new double mixtape Purp & Patron.
The double disc, which is hosted by Funkmaster Flex and DJ Skee, features guest appearances from a who's-who in Hip-Hop, including Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Lil Boosie, Bun B., Mistah F.A.B., Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Ashanti, T-Pain, Mysonne, Dr. Dre and others.
