Drake Lands Hefty Pay Day After Kanye's $1 Million Performance Fee Turned Down

(LOST-9FM News) Rapper Drake snagged a $250,000 one-time performance fee this weekend at a bar mitzvah in New York, the party's organizers rejected Kanye West's $1,000,000 price tag.

Former NBC President/CEO Jeff Zucker hosted the bar mitzvah for his son Andrew on Saturday night (May 7th) at the Four Seasons in Manhattan.

According to The New York Post, Chicago rap star Kanye West was the Zucker family's original choice of entertainment, but his $1,000,000 asking price was too steep for the party.

Sources close to the family said that the Zucker's considered spending $800,000 on West, but decided on Drake, who was considerably cheaper.

The celebration, which included Drake's performance, food and wines,  cost over $250,000.
