(LOST-9FM News) The banned youth opposition group that called for a boycott of a Jadakiss concert in Swaziland, South Africa, is hailing the organization's protest as a success.
Jadakiss performed in Swaziland last night (April 23rd) at a concert for the Prince Lidani Foundation, an organization named after King Maswati III.
But the banned Swaziland Youth Congress called for a boycott of the concert as residents protest King Waswati III, who has ruled the country for 18 years.
"We have no problem with Jadakiss personally, we have a problem with taxpayers' money being used to organize activities of this kind," Swaziland Youth Congress spokesman Mxolisi Nghamphalala told AFP. "Jadakiss performed and he got his money."
According to reports, the boycott impacted the attendance for Jadakiss' performance, which was attended mostly by Swaziland's royal family.
