What year is it? Lloyd transported his concert crowd back to 2004 in New York City with a little taste of Murder Inc.
On April 22, as Lloyd opened for Diddy-Dirty Money's concert in the Big Apple, he was joined by former labelmates Ashanti and Ja Rule. After a rendition of "Southside," "Always On Time" blared through the speakers and a happy Ja Rule hit the stage to the excitement of the screaming Hammerstein venue's crowd.
Earlier this week, Ja Rule released a new single entitled "Real Life Fantasy" from his forthcoming album "Pain Is Love 2." The LP is scheduled to hit shelves on June 7, just one day before he enters prison to serve two years of incarceration stemming from a gun charge.
In addition, Rule pleaded guilty to tax evasion in federal court in New Jersey on April 19. The rapper admitted neglecting to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income. According to the Associated Press, Rule's attorney assured reporters that the weeks leading up to June 7 allow plenty of time for the MC to resolve this issue.
