Two men have been arrested in connection to the March 27 shooting death of DJ Megatron. 21-year-old William Williams and 20-year-old Richard Cromwell have been charged with second-degree murder for fatally shooting Corey McGriff, otherwise known as DJ Megatron.
However, both men have pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon and have been held without bail. Williams’ defense lawyer, Mario Gallucci, insists his client never confessed, adding that the murder weapon has yet to be found.
DJ Megatron worked at BET’s 106 & Park after starting his career out as an intern with Hot 97′s street team.
DJ Megatron was laid to rest on Tuesday, April 5th. He leaves behind grieving parents and three small children.
