Internationally renowned produced DJ Honda has announced a new charity project to help aid in the relief efforts for his native homeland of Japan.
Reps for DJ Honda have confirmed that the producer is currently collaborating with artists from all across the world on a charity single titled "Relief for Japan."
"He has recruited some of the world's most talented artists to become involved and donate their services for a good cause," a rep for DJ Honda said.
Japan is still recovering from a March 11th 9.0 earthquake and Tsunami, which literally washed away entire towns near the coastal regions of the country.
So far, 13,500 people have been confirmed dead, while another 200,000 had to be evacuated from Fukushima, a city just 150 miles north of Tokyo, when a nuclear power plant was damaged.
The damage at the Fukushima plant is so severe, officials raised the threat level to seven, which is the highest on the international scale of atomic crises.
It's also the worst major accident involving nuclear energy since Chernobyl melted down in the Ukraine in 1986.
The proceeds from the sale of the single "Relief for Japan" will be donated to the Japanese victims and their families.
