Canadian Promoters Detail Games Border Issues; Rapper Hits Stage With Lil Wayne

(LOST-9FM News) Rapper Game has returned to Twitter after three days off of the popular networking site, due to his detainment in Canada.

Game was detained at Canada's border on April 20th and sent back to Los Angeles, after he attempted to enter the country to perform dates on his "Red Nation" tour.

According to reports, Game was denied entry into the country, due to his alleged gang ties with The Bloods.

While The Game made a triumphant return to the stage last night (April 22nd) in Los Angeles with Lil Wayne, promoters of the failed tour issued a detailed statement explaining how the concerts ended up being canceled.

"We as the Canadian promoters for the "Red Nation" tour featuring hip-hop artist The Game, completed all necessary work permits and paperwork to allow him entry into Canada," explained The Substance Group in a new statement.

But when Canadian customs received "credible evidence" that the Game was a member of The Bloods and associated with organized crime, they decided to ban him from entering the country.

"The past criminal history of The Game was never addressed in conversation with Canadian officials and at no point was that the issue for his denied entry," read the statement. "Customs insisted the reason was strictly his current gang affiliations."

Reps for The Substance Group attempted to speak to custom agents about getting the rapper into the country, but they detained Game instead and sent him back to Los Angeles.

"Based on Canada's privacy laws, customs officials could not discuss the details of the matter and that the case was closed once a decision was made," The Substance Group said.
