The business legacy and impact of Sean "Diddy" Combs will be celebrated during the Grammy Awards this weekend, when producer/songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox, SESAC and 100 Urban Entrepreneurs host a private gala for the mogul.
Hundreds of aspiring musicians, executives and entrepreneurs will join Cox in celebrating Combs on February 13th at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles.
The event is special for Cox, who has worked intimately with Diddy throughout his career, writing and/or producing hit songs for Cassie, Day 26, Mary J. Blige and Diddy himself.
"I see Diddy’s work as an artist being celebrated all the time," Bryan-Michael Cox said in a statement. "It was important to me to celebrate his work and honor him as a businessman who’s marketing genius changed the face of the music industry. Having worked closely with him throughout the years, I’ve been a direct beneficiary of his counsel and its been life changing.”
Bryan-Michael Cox and SESAC have honored a variety of influential producers and songwriters in the past, including Swizz Beatz, Jermaine Dupri, Chris Hicks, DJ Toomp "Nate Danjahandz" Hills and others.
