AHH Stray News: Rappers Do Brunch, Collipark's Back, USDA Drops

 A variety of rap stars, R&B singers and artists will gather in Los Angeles during ASCAP's Rhythm and Soul's 2nd Annual Grammy Brunch. ASCAP will celebrate the Grammy nods for their artists, which includes Bruno Mars, The Roots, Jermaine Dupri, Janelle Monae, Usher, and others, who are expected to attend the brunch, which takes place from 11:00AM - 2:00PM on Saturday, February 12th at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Hit making producer DJ Smurf aka Mr. Collipark has announced the release of a brand new, free digital mixtape. The 10-track-effort, titled Can I Please Have the Club Back, features brand new production by Mr. Collipark. Mr. Collipark has produced memorable hits for The Ying Yang Twins, Hurricane Chris and Soulja Boy, who he also discovered and signed to his Collipark Music label. Two tracks from Can I Have the Club Back hit the Internet yesterday (February 3rd). One is titled "Boomerang," which reunites Mr. Collipark with The Ying Yang Twins and the other track is titled "Did Ya Mama" featuring Young Money's Lil Chuckee.

Young Jeezy's group USDA will drop their new mixtape CTE or Nothing today (February 4th) at 1:03 PM, according to reps for the group. The latest mixtape from Jeezy and company features DJ Folk and DJ Got Now, along with production by a number of top producers, including Drumma Boy, Lex Luger, Don Cannon, Cardiak, Olympicks, Midnight Black and Djay Cas. The new mixtures comes on the heels of CTE's announcement that longtime group member Blood Raw was no longer associated with the collective. Track listing for CTE or Nothing is listed below:
