Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg suffered an unlikely blow today when his fan page was apparently hacked!!
Of course the message and the fan page were quickly removed but not before it received 1,800 likes and plethora of comments.
The message read: “Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ‘social business’ the way Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus described it? [LINK] What do you think? #hackercup2011″
According to Tech Crunch, the message seems to be in response to the recent Facebook-Goldman deal, which could bring in up to 750 new investors all grouped together as one fund through Goldman, and ultimately, bring about a soon-to-be publicly traded Facebook.
Facebook has no comment thus far on the incident but has since up its security measures. Isn’t it a bit troubling that Mark Zuckerberg and/or his minions can’t prevent his own fan page from being hacked?!
