Oprah’s Cousin Says She Fired Her Over God

Oprah Winfrey’s cousin Jo Baldwin, who used to work for her as a speechwriter, is claiming in a recently released interview that she was fired for “talking about Jesus all the time.” Baldwin, currently a professor at Mississippi Valley State, said the talk show diva “preferred the teachings of Shirley MacLaine’s books” over religion. Baldwin gave the interview last summer to Oprah’s unauthorized biographer, Kitty Kelly.
