Guerilla Union has announced the final additions to its lineup for this year’s Rock the Bells Festival in association with Boost Mobile.
The festival will visit three cities, two in California and one in New Jersey and has added a new stage to the San Bernardino, festival.
The San Bernardino, CA festival will be blessed by Hip-Hop legend and educator KRS-One, Xzibit, Hieroglyphics, El-P, Killer Mike, Kid Ink, Machine Gun Kelly, Casey Veggies, I Self Devine, Chief Keef, and Slim da Mobster.
The Holmdel, New Jersey lineup has added its East Coast friends, adding Slaughterhouse, French Montana, Red Café, Chicago, up-and-comer Chief Keef, and U.K. standout, Tinie Tempah.
Adding to the hype, Guerilla Union has also added DMX and Eve to the Mountain View, CA shows.
For fans that can’t wait to hear the festival itself, Rock the Bells has also announced the addition of an official Rock the Bells 2012 Mixtape, set to be released on July 24 on DatPiff.com.
The mixtape will feature exclusive tracks from participating festival artists, including the first Deltron 3030 single in over 10 years, as well as the first single from RZA’s directorial debut, The Man with the Iron Fists.
DatPiff also has contributed by adding another stage, exclusively for the San Bernardino festival.
“The Fairgrounds in San Bernardino allows us the room to build an additional stage, versus the amphitheaters in Mountain View and Holmdel where it is not as spaciously possible,” Chang Weisberg of Guerilla Union explained.
“Plus, Southern California is our home-court. It’s where Rock the Bells all started. We wanted to do something special for the fans that have supported us from the beginning. The Guerilla Union Stage mixed by DatPiff is our way of saying thank you to our backyard fans that helped catapult Rock the Bells to what it is today, giving us the ability to bring the music and the experience to additional cities, nationally and internationally,” Weisberg said.
Tickets for Rock the Bells Festival 2012 are now available and fans are advised to visit www.rockthebells.net for the exact lineup per market.  Fans are encouraged to sign up for the Guerilla Union newsletter for important announcements and up-to-date information regarding the festival lineup and details.
