President Dr.Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso witness the signing ceremony of Euro.126.5 Million financial aid in Dar

President Dr.Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso witness the signing ceremony  for six new financing agreements worth a total of Euro 126.5 million at Dar es Salaam State House this morning. The Signing was done by the Tanzanian Minister for Finance Dr. William Mgimwa(right) and the European Commissioner  for Development, Andris Piebalgs(left).This new support will help rehabilitate more than 200km of roads and provide access to drinking water for 500,000 people, improve sanitation infrastructure and services for some 140,000 inhabitants in Tanzania.
