Lil Wayne Interview

Basically his artist that he saw at a certain level has done better then he suspected, but money is on his side, and he eating. Why in the hell you would think he got a problem with him getting paid. People take things the wrong way to say something. But really Lil Wayne is on top right now, and everybody on his team has a good chance to ride the wave for the fullness of it!
Check The Story
Lil Wayne took a minute to speak with MTV News about his Young Money family. With Drake and Nicki Minaj holding down the crew while he was away. It sounds like Lil Wayne is a proud dad braggin’ on his children making in good grades in school:
Drake: “The first thing I said was this kid’s a superstar. I don’t think you can remember, but I did some interviews back then when they were asking me about him and I said he’s better than me. I can’t sing. I can make a song, but this kid has the actual R&B presence. He’s one of the dopest lyricists. That right there, he has a welcoming appearance. I knew he was something bigger than something I had envisioned for my company when I ran into this kid. I was thinking I’m going to put my people on and we’re going to be all right, but then when I ran into this kid, I was like, this a superstar, he’s got a chance to make my company something for real, something to be thought of, to be remembered.”
Lil Wayne just said that Drake is better than him… He might actually have a point because most of the time when Drake is rapping or singing, most people aren’t scratching their heads thinking— “What the hell is this dude talking about?”
Nicki Minaj: “I can’t front, I just thought she was going to be the new female MC that none of these other female MCs can touch, but now, she’s blossomed into a megastar with this new attitude and this style. Now when I talk to her, I just tell her, ‘Do what you do, baby.’ I used to be able to go into the studio and say, ‘Nah, don’t say that, don’t say that.’ You know, ‘That was better.’ Now, do what you do, baby. I don’t have a clue about what you’re doing right now, but it’s working, [so] do it.”
Aww that was sweet of him to speak so highly of his Young Money family. On another note, Nicki Minaj has broken a female MC record. She is the first female rapper to stay on the Top 200 Billboard charts Top 10 for 14 consecutive weeks… Dayyumm!!! Lil Wayne may not have a clue what Nicki is doing but he’s right about one thing… She’s doing something right!
Shout out Bossip
Lil Wayne recently sat down with Sway from MTV News and admitted that he thinks Drake is a better artist than he is. He also discussed how his business relationship with Nicki Minaj has changed and his thoughts on her recent success.
