DJ Quik Celebrates 20 Years With 'The Book of David'

 DJ Quik is celebrating his 20th anniversary in rap with the release of his newest album The Book of David will land in stores this April.

The Book of David is DJ Quik's first album in six years, his last official album being the critically acclaimed release Trauma.

DJ Quik handled all the production for his eighth solo album, while guests like Ice Cube, Kurupt, Bun B., Bizzy Bone, Suga Free, Jon B. and Dwele check in with featured appearances.

“The whole idea behind this project was not just to make another rap album,” DJ Quik revealed. “I wanted to focus on the overall musical performance process…not just the rapping part. It’s a smart album, it’s everything I wanted it to be."

DJ Quik's The Book of David is due in stores on April 20th (4/20).
